Mobile Access Payment (MAP) Program

Handy Tech North America in partnership with Code Factory, are pleased to reintroduce a new financing option by which consumers may pay for any of the Code Factory products over a twelve month period, interest-free.

Are you tired of limited accessibility to mobile devices such as cell phones and PDA’s? Have you ever been in a situation where you could have greatly benefited from the use of an accessible GPS solution or Mobile screen reader, but couldn’t justify the purchase due to the up-front cost? If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions, you may be in a position to take advantage of HTNA’s Mobile Access Payment Program, MAP. Originally unveiled in April of 2009 as the first affordable means of obtaining access to mobile accessibility by allowing individuals to purchase mobile screen readers and GPS solutions through financing options. The MAP program was suspended for a short time due to a few individuals who elected to default on their financial commitment and limited recourse in HTNA’s efforts to collect on a debt. These few individuals really ruined the program for all of the honest people; however, now thanks to a new licensing system put into place by Code Factory, the opportunity is once again available.

The Mobile Access Payment (MAP) Program takes the sting out of your pocket book and in spite of a struggling global economy, makes this life changing technology attainable by people for whom the lump sum expenditure may be prohibitive.

United States residents may now purchase the award-winning Mobile Speak 4.0 mobile screen reader, Mobile Geo 2.5 GPS solution, as well as Mobile Speak Adventure and Mobile Speak Gold software bundle packages on the 12 month MAP payment program.

This program is currently only available for the United States residents purchasing their accessible solutions from Handy Tech North America, a company well known for their work in modifying mainstream off-the-shelf technology for use by people who are blind or have low vision and their high quality of service and support. Thanks to Code Factory’s talented software engineers, HTNA’s slogan “It’s all about adapting,” now refers to purchasing options as well as products.

We're sorry; we are not able to offer hardware products such as mobile phones or GPS receivers on the MAP Program at this time. As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Please note: The MAP program is being offered by Handy Tech North America and Code Factory. All sales are final and under no circumstances will adjustments to payments be made due to changes or fluctuations in retail pricing of products being offered in the MAP Program.

In order for Purchaser to participate in the MAP program, he/she must be at least 18 years of age and may not use a third parties PayPal account, credit or check card for any of the products offered in this program.  Such payment methods must be issued in the purchaser's name with no exceptions.

Note the above is only an example to illustrate the payment structure of the MAP program and is not the actual price being paid for the product you wish to purchase. The actual amount for the product available under the MAP program will be shown on the next page at which point you will still have an opportunity to either move forward with, or opt out of the MAP program.

The $100 administrative fee will be applied for all products purchased under the MAP program and and sales tax will be automatically assessed for Minnesota and Illinois residents.

Purchaser understands and agrees that MAP is essentially a loan, and as such, Purchaser authorizes the monthly payment to be automatically debited from his/her PayPal account, credit or debit card for the duration of the loan.  The expiration date of purchaser’s credit or charge card must accede the duration of the loan.  It is entirely the responsibility of the purchaser to maintain his/her PayPal account, renew the specified credit or check card, or contact the seller immediately when a credit card is canceled, expired, lost or stolen or in the event that his/her PayPal account is compromised.

An account is considered to be in default immediately upon a failed payment attempt.  Accounts that laps for more than 30 days past the last failed billing attempt will be canceled and all payment made by purchaser to seller forfeited.

Seller reserves the right to impose an additional administrative fee equal to 10 percent of the remaining outstanding balance, or $35.00 which ever amount is greater should the purchaser’s PayPal payment or credit card be declined, be  canceled, or expire prior to the end of the lone period thereby resulting in additional administrative costs. Seller reserves the right to wave such penalties in the event that the purchaser notifies the seller immediately should his/her PayPal account be compromised, credit card be compromised, lost, stolen, or for any other reason resulting in its cancelation.  In these instances, it is the purchaser’s responsibility to provide documentation evidencing such unfortunate occurrences.

In the event of delinquency or excessive late payment, Seller may at any time demand Purchaser to pay all late penalties and remaining balance amount in full.  Failure to do so will result in appropriate collection measures and/or legal action taken to satisfy purchaser’s financial obligation.  Purchaser will be responsible for any and All costs associated or incurred as a result of such collection measures including legal fees.

By entering into this agreement, the purchaser acknowledges that he/she has used a trial version of the third party software previous to this purchase, understands its capabilities and limitations, and, shall in no way shape or form hold Handy Tech North America and/or Triumph Technology, its subsidiaries and agents, staff or business partners liable for any damage believed to be caused by the use of these products.

Purchaser further understands that he/she is obligated to fulfill the terms of this agreement without exception. All sales of third party software are absolutely final and refunds will not be issued for any reason whatsoever. Hence, under all circumstances purchaser will be required to fulfill his/her obligation to make any and all payments for the product purchased.
